SUMMARY

EHRA is looking for committed Team Members to be part of our Hydrology & Hydraulics (H&H) Practice Area. The Project Manager (PM)/Sr. Project Manager (Sr. PM) role at EHRA is one that requires both management and leadership skills, which play into the firm’s commitment to create quality developments while continuing to develop our team. The H&H Team at EHRA embraces contribution and promotes collaboration in order to create opportunities for the firm and for each other. Desired candidates will be able to provide creative and innovative solutions where possible for drainage studies and effectively communicate with client(s) and project team through the drainage design/analysis process in order to ensure a quality drainage plan and design for each project.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
•Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas
•Seven to ten (7-10)years minimum experience managing a team and clients for hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and/or design projects
•Proficient with HEC-RAS steady and unsteady state modeling and experience with HEC-RAS 1D/2D modeling
•Proficient with HEC-HMS modeling
•Proficient with EPA and/or XP SWMM modeling
•Experience with ARC-MAP and Civil 3D a plus
•Experience with the FEMA, LOMR-F, CLOMR, and LOMR submittal process
•Experience with developing master drainage plans for land development projects
•Experience performing analyses in accordance with City of Houston, Harris County, and Harris County Flood Control District standards, at a minimum
•Experience with DOT drainage studies a plus
•Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with all level of employees within the organization, as well as with local and state agencies
•Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, both public and private, as well as representatives of local and state agencies

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Prepare proposals, scopes of work and level of effort estimates for contracts and manage projects based on the executed agreement
•Be a serving leader for the H&H Team, providing mentorship, training and technical support that ultimately serves both the team and the clients well
•Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for public and/or private development projects that include, but not limited to: watershed studies for planning and/or floodplain mapping, master-planned communities, detention studies, floodplain impact studies, roadway studies, etc.
•Prepare drainage reports for both public and private sector projects for agency review submittals that document the drainage studies performed, and also manage the studies through the review process by addressing agency comments and obtaining approvals
•Prepare LOMR-F, LOMR and CLOMR FEMA applications and manage them through the review process
•Be respectful of the team and clients by developing trusting relationships and providing responsive communication and effective coordination of project tasks, budgets and schedules
