LAND PLANNER(Job
Code: LP)
Coordinate between Project Managers, Clients, and Regulatory Agencies. Translate schematics to Exhibit drawings in AutoCAD. Exhibit prep includes bubble plans, general plans, thoroughfare alignment studies, and design; demographic, topography and floodway/plain data collection; and acreage calculations on roads, water, and commercial land uses. Preliminary Plat Submittals include pad/lot design & layout. Additional activities include Aerial Overlays, Submittal Packages, and continuous research for the best revitalization methods for suburban, rural, and urban areas. The ideal candidate will have a related degree and experience with ongoing studies to remain current on technology, economic issues, and environmental policies & regulations.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT ENGINEER (Job
Code: WWTP)
This position consists of the planning and design
of civil engineering projects. Civil or Environmental
Engineer with experience (0 to 5 yrs.) or an EIT
with coursework in Wastewater Systems & Treatment
Plants including Lift & Pump Stations, Biological
Processes, and Sewage Collection Systems. Will
analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints and
other data to plan and design project. Prepare
specifications and plans for projects and inspect
construction site to monitor progress and ensure
conformance to plans and specifications.
SURVEY
CREW PARTY CHIEF (Job Code: Chief)
Requires 2 + years crew chief experience with
total stations & data collection (field-to-finish
coding), and RTK GPS (Leica preferred). Related
2+ year degree or NSPS certification is preferred.
SURVEY
INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (Job Code: I-Tech)
2+ years experience performing boundary, topography,
ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for
public and private clients. Operate survey equipment
(total station with data collector, levels, GPS
receivers, Leica preferred). Measure distances
between survey points; mark construction stakes;
set stakes and iron rods; cut and clear brush
from survey lines; and maintain crew equipment.
Compiles field notes, sketches and records; Collects
data pertaining to angles, elevations, points
and contours used for construction, map making,
etc. Perform field computations.
PROJECT
SURVEY TECHNICIAN (Job Code: SIT)
Responsible for organizing research for field,
reducing field observations, and preparing data
for drafting. Prepares descriptions, reports,
sketches, and calculations. Works under RPLS supervision.
Requires degree or nearly degreed with completion
of 32 semester hours in surveying-related coursework;
pursuing certification as Surveyor-in-Training;
and 1 to 2 years experience preferred.
PROJECT
ENGINEER (Job Code: PE)
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 –
7 years civil engineering design, site plan production,
and project management experience, preferably
in land development. Will perform assignments
with the design of water, wastewater, drainage
and roadway systems. Will direct Techs and EIT’s
as required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word
required.

EIT (Job Code: EIT)
Successful candidates will have a BS in Civil
Engineering with 0 – 2 years experience
in all aspects of land development services. Will
provide assistance to Project Managers in assignments
for water, wastewater, paving and drainage projects,
in addition to assistance in design, project budgets
and schedules, final plans and specifications.
CIVIL
CAD DESIGNER (Job Code: CAD Des)
5 – 10 years experience designing civil
projects using AutoCAD, Excel, and/or other computer
design programs. Responsibilities will include
all aspects of the design of civil engineering
projects, such as, residential land developments
and commercial site developments. Must have experience
with designing pavement, site grading, drainage,
storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water distribution
systems.
CIVIL
CAD OPERATOR (Job Code: CAD Op)
3 – 5 years experience using AutoCAD for
the drafting of civil construction plans for residential
and commercial type projects. Must have experience
with paving and utility layouts, plans and profiles,
and construction details. Strong communication
skills needed for interaction with engineers and
designers on projects.
PROJECT
SITE REPRESENTATIVE (Job Code: Site Rep)
10 years experience desired as land development
and municipal project site representative. Responsibilities
will encompass daily jobsite visits and/or inspections
to observe construction activity on a project
in the capacity of an observer to ensure that
the contractor is constructing project in accordance
with the contract specifications and drawings.
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PROJECT COORDINATOR - (Job
Code: CMS PC)
Assist with project development and implementation
serving as a liaison between engineering and CMS
department. Perform, oversee and/or review project
quantity utility and paving take-offs from construction
drawings requiring use of AutoCAD Operations and
Command techniques. Prepare unit bid proposals;
Conduct mandatory pre-bid & bid opening meetings;
Present aerial views & maps for locating projects;
Field contractor calls; Oversee bid tabulation
& contractor reference verifications. Bachelors
