Transportation: Senior Project Manager

The position consists of planning, supervising and design of civil engineering projects.  The Candidate will be a Civil Engineer licensed in Texas with 10+ years of experience in design of Roadways for TxDOT, Counties, Cities and Private Clients.  MicroStation and GEOPAK experience is preferred.  Performs Project Management of TxDOT design projects and includes  traffic control plans, signing and striping plans and storm water pollution prevention plans. The position oversees a design group and is responsible for all design work meeting TxDOT, City and County standards. Interprets, organizes, plans, schedules, executes and coordinates major technical engineering assignments; performs engineering design work, calculates costs, prepares specifications and conducts various studies for the firm. Manages professional, technical and clerical employees.  Reports to the Vice President. Work requires extensive contact with governmental officials and private entities including marketing and business development responsibilities.  Successful candidate must have good verbal and writing skills.
