Eagle Landing, Sections One, Two and Three (Harris County MUD No. 399) Harris County, Texas
Project consists of general planning, platting, surveying, preliminary and final engineering and construction management for the development of 238.5 acres located in Harris County at the north corner of Ella Boulevard and Kuykendahl Road in Harris County MUD No. 399. Current development consists of three completed sections, totaling 378 lots on 90 acres of property. EHRA completed preliminary and final plats for the three sections, received approval on construction plans for the water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water quality and pavement facilities to serve the three sections and perform construction inspection and general management of the project to ensure that it was built according to designs and specifications. Project also has several regional facilities required for the development of the property, which included drainage study of the region, channel improvements, excavation of a regional detention basin and construction of off-site waterlines to serve the development. The drainage study for the development consisted of an analyses of the North Fork of Greens Bayou (HCFCD Unit No. P145-03-00) and the effects of a proposed development located in the drainage area for the North Fork Greens Bayou Regional Detention Pond (HCFCD Unit No. P525-01-00). The goal of the drainage analysis was to prove that P145-03-00 (“the channel”), after improvements, had the ability to carry the 100-year storm runoff from the P145-03-00 watershed (including the proposed development runoff) from discharge point to the regional detention pond site without creating any adverse effects to the water surface elevation in the channel. The existing condition of the channel and its drainage area were analyzed and the channel improvements designed to increase capacity to transport the flows to the regional detention basin without adversely affecting adjacent properties. The basin’s operation was improved based upon the recommendations presented in the study and implemented during construction of a side weir structure that allowed for improved flow between the channel and the basin. EHRA prepared construction plans and specifications, bid documents and performed bidding cycle, construction management and inspection services in addition to coordinating acceptance of project improvements by TCEQ, HCPID and HCFCD. The off-site waterline consisted of design and construction management for a 16-inch trunk water line for approximately one mile of 16-inch trunk water line to serve Harris County MUD No. 399 along Kuykendahl Road from Ella Boulevard to near Richey Road including road and channel crossings. EHRA prepared construction plans and specifications, bid documents and performed bidding cycle, construction management and inspection services in addition to coordinating acceptance of project improvements by TCEQ, HCPID and HCFCD.

Towne Lake, Sections One and Two
Harris County, Texas
EHRA has commenced engineering and development of a 2,400 acre single-family residential lake community that will include a 325 acre lake / detention pond system. EHRA has excavated ½ million yards of dirt, cleared 150 acres of land and completed two sections (approximately 100 acres). Improved / reconstructed an existing Harris County Flood Control ditch to be used as a primary storm sewer outfall and constructed one mile of sanitary force main and lift station along the existing West Road to serve the development.

Rodeo Palms, Subdivision Improvements
City of Manvel, Texas
Rodeo Palms is a 585 acre mixed use development located in Manvel, Texas. This was the first master planned community within the City of Manvel which involved the creation of Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 29 and City of Manvel TIRZ No. 1. Unique aspects of this project include the detention system and amenity lakes; constraints on the shallow drainage outfall depth and discharge rate which were a challenge for the project drainage. This project contains two lift stations, eight lakes, a water plant and wastewater treatment plant. The project included a roadway crossing the Gulf Coast Water Authority irrigation canal. To enhance access to the project, we designed and constructed acceleration and deceleration lanes on SH 288.

Crossing at Onion Creek – Subdivision Improvements
Austin, Texas
Professional services for platting, design plans and construction administration for 92-acre development on E. Slaughter Lane at Brandt Road. Project consists of five phases and 464 lots, including three separate water quality treatment facilities. First three phases and off-site waterline improvements were designed concurrently. FHA lot grading was provided for all residential lots in the development along with grading of remaining commercial tracts. EHRA coordinated consultants performing other engineering services for project (surveying, transportation, geotechnical and structural). Travis County permitting was also key. Worked with developer on layout of lots and FHA lot grading to allow many prime trees to remain upon completion of construction. This included design of water quality and detention pond preserving a 72-inch diameter oak tree along Brandt Road.

Rivers Mist
Fort Bend County, Texas
Project consists of general planning, platting, surveying, engineering design and construction management services for the development of a 175 single-family residential lot development located within the City of Rosenberg ETJ. This project included the design of a detention/amenity basin which serve the Rivers Mist development located within two drainage watersheds. A complete Watershed Analysis of Gapps Slough was required by Fort Bend County Drainage District to prove that the proposed development, upon ultimate build out, would not impact the existing channel or surrounding properties. The development also included modifications of the existing Reading Road, including the construction of a left turn lane and closure of existing median break. This project will be completed in three sections. Section One, consisting of 52 single-family lots, is complete.
